Hey,
I'm Caitlin.
I've had a camera in my hands since I was eight years old, and I haven't looked back.
For me, good photographs tell a story - stories of love, of new beginnings, of happy moments, of new additions...and even of loss and grief. Photos allow us to freeze important moments in time so we can look back and visually remember emotions and relive those fleeting feelings. Often, family photos are some of the most cherished items in a house.
Now, don't get me wrong, I know it's 2026! Most of our photos aren't hung on physical walls, but posted on Facebook walls (does Facebook still have a wall?) and Instagram stories. That doesn't make their quality and story any less important. That is where I come in.
Creating powerful images for real people.
I am a portrait photographer with love for landscapes. 95% of my work is capturing the essence of real people, families, and events. That other 5%? I LOVE a good landscape photo. One day, I will make a coffee table photo book of beautiful landscape photos I've taken (you will see some of them throughout this website). But 95% of my photos are for folks like YOU. They hang on a living room gallery wall, sit on a mantle, or live in a family photo album. They go on holiday cards, thank you notes, and, yes, social media. So I strive to create the BEST images possible to deliver to each client. I honestly think the term 'bespoke' is overused, but it's what I do: each session is tailored to the client's needs and vision. The more adventurous the better, and extra credit for bringing your fur-child.
If you made it this far, you want to know who you'd be working with.
I'm a wife. I'm a mom (human and cat). I'm a native Upstate New Yorker (we can debate where Upstate begins another time). I'm an athlete. I'm a creative. I am at peace near the mountains or water and overwhelmed in a shopping mall. I will ask permission to pet your dog. I will not ask permission to be authentic.
If you think I'm relatable and we'd work well together, reach out! I serve mainly the Capital Region of New York, but have traveled for shoots in the Adirondacks, the Catskills, and New York City.
